Whoo!

In the beginning there was… well… drafts of a first post. MANY drafts of a first post.

Do you know how hard creating a first post is?! You start out with the grandest of aspirations. It’s going to be the post that sets the tone of the what you’re trying to acheive. Your introduction to the world at large, and you want it to do EVERYTHING. Poor little post. That’s a lot of pressure. So let’s take the pressure off of it, and just make it the older sibling that waves awkwardly when introduced at a party full of people they have never met. Nobody is reading this any way, right? So post like nobodies watching.

Welcome to Spook Review where I’ll be spouting opinions and thoughts on things that I consider eerie, creepy, scary, or just plain weird. Is it a book site? Yes. Is it a movie site? Yes. Is it a podcast site? Yes. If it fits the bill and I see it, read it, or listen to it I’m going to mention it.

I’ll also be live tweeting movies and shows hopefully every week. It won’t matter if it’s been around for awhile, it’ll be new to me so it will count.

Honestly, I don’t know where this is going to take me. I’ve been debating this for awhile and then in May of 2022 I got a kick in my backside to give this a go, so here I am. I may be the one with the hands on the wheel, but I’m also someone who has to see what is just around that corner on the unbeaten path off to the left of the main one. And if it’s dark and just a little foreboding looking? I am so there. I also quite often end up in parts of town with no idea how I got there, but that’s another story. So yes my hands on the wheel and driving, but also along for the ride as well.
